It is an honor that The Christmas Tree That Changed The World, a  2-minute short animation, was selected and premiered on September 6, 2026, at the Toronto Shorts International Film Festival!

The festival was held at Innes Hall on the University of Toronto campus.

Toronto Shorts provides a showcase for short films from filmmakers around the world and believes that short-form cinema and its creators deserve their own premier film festival in Toronto.

Happy to report that The Christmas Tree That Changed The World was warmly received at Toronto Shorts, with the audience embracing its heartwarming story of love, kindness and hope — and showing their appreciation with lots of enthusiastic applause! ❤️

We are so grateful to everyone who helped bring Spruce and Holly’s story to life and to everyone who joined us for this special premiere.
